The client is a large European cable operator offering quad-play to its customers.  The client is deploying a new set of mobile, broadband, voice and TV products in several of its European markets.

The client is looking for a Delivery Project Manager to join its group to manage the delivery stages of the solution across affiliates in multiple countries. The PM will work closely with architects, other internal groups and vendors providing components of the solution in order to ensure delivery on time and with proper alignment across organizations.

Main responsibilities of this Delivery Project Manager job in Amsterdam are:

  • - Manage the development of a Requirements Traceability Matrix for delivery process support.
  • - Manage project delivery schedules, workload and priorities.
  • - Manage Change for the project.
  • - Manage stakeholders at all levels.
  • - Manage budget and costs.
  • - On-going alignment of solution with the High Level Solution Architecture.
  • - Represent the IT department with other groups in Engineering, Product Management, Corporate Marketing and others.
  • - Support resolution of incidents and on-going resolution of technical design issues identified during design and testing phases.
  • - Coordinate third party deliveries and manage vendors.
  • - Support the development, testing and deployment of systems in various affiliates.

Key knowledge and experience required for Delivery Project Manager job in Amsterdam:

  • - 7+ years PM experience in a delivery environment.
  • - Minimum of 3 years recent telecoms delivery experience.
  • - Has extensive project management and delivery experience in high paced client environments.
  • - Has experience working with design teams and contributing to overall service platform design and delivery in multiple customer environments.
  • - Has experience on managing multiple environments/priorities and quickly resolving issues.
  • - Had experience in Incident Management.
  • - Has experience working with customers to explain their options using various service designs, review the benefits of each solution and ensure the customer's business requirements are satisfied with the design.
  • - Fluent in English, other European languages are an advantage.
  • - Good communication skills and understanding of various cultures.
  • - Strong analytical skills; the ability to see at both the high level view and focus on detail if required; the ability to apply technology to solve business problems.
  • - Determination and drive to consistently and successfully deliver according to commitment (results driven).
  • - Pro-active individual - able to see issues and suggest solutions before they arise.
